Atlético Madrid wins SportChain Cup Rotterdam U15 2019

The SportChain Cup Rotterdam U15, organized by AcademyTrips and SportChain, took place last weekend. It was a big success! For three days, the Excelsior Rotterdam complex was occupied by the best teams from all over the world. 24 teams competed with blood, sweat and tears for the best place at the football tournament.

 Stijn Middeldorp and Bo van der Gaag, players of Excelsior Rotterdam U15, about the tournament:
“The tournament is fun, lots of opponents and different countries. It leads to new experiences that you learn a lot from. You have to work hard every time. Stand strong with the whole team, even when times get rough.”

And the winner is…
The winner of the SportChain Cup Rotterdam U15 is Atlético Madrid! Then won almost every game and therefore proved themselves to be a strong opponent. Besides the number 1, there were many more prices:

  • Fair play: PVF
  • Best keeper: Sergio Mestre Sánches (Atlético Madrid)
  • Best striker: Marcos Denia Díaz (Atlético Madrid)
  • Best midfielder: Sergio Esteban Cestero (Atlético Madrid)
  • Best defender: Olivier Aertsen (Sparta Rotterdam)
